Oncology Zoledronic Acid infusion

All Pinnacle practices in the Waikato region can claim for this service.

This programme is also funded for patients not enrolled in your practice, who may be referred to you via another service/practice. In these cases, you can only invoice for this service and no other off set can be claimed.

If you are not able to provide any of these procedures for your patients, this care can be provided by another practice in your area. This can be arranged by direct contact between you and the other practice. The practice performing the procedure will invoice Pinnacle directly and there will still be no cost to the patient.

Patients with cancer related conditions, domiciled in the Te Whatu Ora Waikato area who would benefit from treatment. In most instances this infusion will be requested of general practice by the patient's oncologist.

Please make your claim via Primary Options, select Oncology Zoledronic Acid infusion and then attach the appropriate invoice.

Oncology Zoledronic acid infusion: $198.34 (GST incl.)  

Please be aware the claim is all inclusive of the administration of the infusion, observation time and consumables. 

Oncology Zoledronic acid GP/NP consultation: $83.53 ( GST incl)  

Funding for one consultation per infusion. This can be at any time in relation to the infusion and can be virtual
